T-Mobile + BlackBerry 8700 = MMS Message Issues

"You have been sent a picture message. View your message at http://www.t-mobilepictures.com"

For months I was annoyed with that. The whole point of receiving MMS (picture) messages is to get a quick glance without having to use your desktop! I finally got tired of it and investigated why I was having this trouble. I use the Blackberry 8700g device with T-Mobile cellular service.

Put your hands up for Detroit??

I am not the biggest fan of dance music, outside of a night club anyway, but this new song is being played everywhere. I have to admit... I did download it and add it to my iPod. Very catchy song. The song I am talking about is "Put your hands up for Detroit" by Fedde Le Grand. I hear it nearly daily on my Sirius radio, flipping through the stations (during the rare times I take a small break from the Howard Stern show.)

The video for the song is pretty unique, I guess. I can't complain to much ...

OS X: Safari or Firefox

For as long as I have been using OS X, about 4 years, I have always used Safari. I never had many complaints with the browser and it is very fast! Recently I have been annoyed with Safari not rendering certain pages correctly. I know that Safari is W3C compliant and the real issue is the code used on the page in question, but still it can be annoying.

Many of my friends are suggesting Firefox. While I am no stranger to Firefox on the PC or even *nix (FreeBSD, Linux) I have yet to try it on OS X ...

Using Ecto

So as part of my move to Serendipity I decided to try using some desktop clients to make managing this thing easier. I tried a few clients and it came down to either Mars Edit or Ecto. Since I use OS X my choices were a little limited. Luckily, both these clients are some of the best around and both have OS X versions. Both clients were feature filled and easy to use. UFC 67 is about an hour or so away. I will make my predictions now so I can't be called a liar later ;) I will only give my pick on the championship fight tonight.
