Even though I grew up Catholic, I'm not a very religious person. None the less, I still celebrate Christmas and look forward to it every year. Time with friends and family is always awesome but I'm glad it's kept to once or twice a year :p

So, whatever it is you're celebrating this time of year, have fun and be safe. I hope you have a great holiday season and spend it doing whatever makes you happy!

NorthWoods Inn - Hallows Eve 2010

On Hallows Eve 2010 I went to dinner at the NorthWoods Inn restaurant. I had family in town and this is the place they picked. It was also a dinner to celebrate my brothers 18th birthday.

This place is known for it's great steaks and mouth watering (literally!) garlic cheese bread. Also, they serve you large bowls of peanuts and encourage you to throw the shells on the floor. It definitely adds to the woodsy lodge type atmosphere that this joint has. This will be a review of the foods I ate that night...

Lakers Opening Game - 10/26/2010

When I was born, I was wearing a Dodgers hat and a Lakers jersey. Sounds odd I know, but that's just a result of being born and bred in Southern California.

It just so happened that the Lakers opening game for the 2010/2011 season fell on my brothers 18th birthday. We decided to celebrate by going to the game. They were playing the Houston Rockets which was cool because we had a grueling series with them in the playoff's the season before last. Still some bad blood there no doubt.

Nearly 4 Years In and I Still Suck At Writing Blog Posts

I first registered the domain name PeterSanchez.com back in 2005 and pretty much had a blog up ever since.

In 2007 I switched from WordPress to Serendipity because I wanted to use PostgreSQL as the database (holy war flame bait, but I f'n hate MySQL!) and WordPress didn't have the support for it.

Ok, I admit it. I'm absolutely horrible at keeping my priorities in proper order. I'm willing to guess that you are too. Why? Because most humans are. It's sort of our nature.

Brand Spankin' New Design

A few weeks ago I went looking around Theme Forest for a new design to use on this website. A lot of people get confused and think that because I am a great web developer — *cough* — that I'm also a great web designer. Well web designer I'm not, and yes, there is a huge difference between the two. When I need a new web design I do it the old fashioned way, I buy it. Either buy a new theme or hire a designer to create something unique for me.

If you're reading this, I want to say thanks for being a reader of mine.

Also, just wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving to all of you out there who are celebrating it. We all have things to be thankful for in our lives - no matter how big or small. Enjoy them all!

I'm off to stuff my face with turkey, potatoes, gravy, and biscuits. Seriously it's one of my favorite meals. I'm not a big fan of stuffing or any of the other "normal" Thanksgiving extras.

Why I Came Crawling Back To The iPhone

Well that didn't take very long did it? Roughly 10 weeks ago I wrote about why I was switching from my iPhone (which I had used for nearly 2 years) back to a BlackBerry.
