Back in 2007 I started working at a startup named Groovr (which appears to not be in operation anymore.)

The idea behind Groovr was sort of an enhanced Twitter, only without the message limitation. It natively supported image and movie messages being sent to the service. A lot of people loved these features but my favorite was something completely different.

Groovr Got Fancy!

For a while I worked at a new startup here in LA called Groovr. I resigned earlier this year from Groovr but still keep in touch with the guys & gals over there. Today they launched the latest version of the website. It's been about 5 months since the last release and the features they implemented are really cool!

The New Groovr!

As you know, I work at Groovr. Well last night we launched the new version of the site. This includes a complete rewrite of the software that powers the site and a brand spankin' new design. The site still runs on Python + Django and was given lots more functionality. The real killer part is the iPhone app! Just head to www.groovr.com on your iPhone and you will be automatically placed in the iPhone app. Oh and we aren't done. LIfe at a Startup

A lot of people ask me what it's like working at an internet startup. I, unfortunately, missed out on the web 1.0 bubble so I am hoping to catch a piece of the new wave. Traditionally, I have worked for established companies for good, or great, salaries with amazing benefits, programs, etc.
