No Country For Old Men - Review

So last Saturday I went and saw the movie No Country For Old Men by the Cohen Brothers. It was in limited release and being in LA, it was obviously being shown here. Word was out on this movie and I didn't have an easy time getting tickets but I finally scored some for an 11pm showing. Movie was sold out but we got awesome seats, which means we stood in line for nearly an hour just to be seated. It was worth it.

1408 - I Hate You

So, I know a lot the reviews were pretty bad but my wife and I wanted to catch a flick and we had seen everything that we wanted to already. We decided to watch 1408 because it had one thing going for it, which was that it is based on a Stephen King short story. I guess the fact that John Cusack was the lead should have sent red flags up. We sat through it none the less.

Review: 300

I saw 300 on opening night (3.09.07) at the IMAX theatre in the Universal City Walk - Hollywood. I was able to score some tickets early as this place was sold out for all showings! I showed up about 45 minutes early to find out that there was already a line of about 70 people waiting to enter the theatre. Great. Luckily, I hurtled my way through the crowd to land perfect seats for me and my wife.

Now, the reviews I had read for this movie had not been kind. I have been excited to see this flick ...
